“Whole brain” diagnostics

My diagnostics are accurate because I can see through the cloud of secondary effects to focus on the root of the problem. I have:

• extensive hands on knowledge of materials used in piano fabrication, and knowledge how those materials reach their natural limits and tend to fail
• hands on piano building… I have already made the mistakes which show me where and how problems occur in pianos
• “smart hands”… my hands often know what the problem is before I become consciously aware of it
• gut level split second impulses of a jazz improviser, combined with a highly developed mechanical sense and the ability to see patterns in seemingly conflicting information
• extensive knowledge of the pianos’ design mechanics
