Jim and I discussed what I was hoping to get out of my restored Steinway — was I trying to make it sound and look like it did when my grandparents bought it? Or did I want to do something else? I didn't have a clue what the possibilities were. I am now the happy owner of a beautiful-sounding and stunning-looking Steinway. I also feel like I did right by my grandmother.
